Brussels, September 2026
Chemical Recycling Europe (CRE) has released the full agenda for its Annual Conference 2026, taking place on 30 September at the Park Inn by Radisson Brussels Airport. Held under the theme “Powering Circular Plastics Made in Europe,” the conference brings together industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators to take stock of where chemical recycling stands today and what it will take to meet Europe’s 2030 circularity targets.
Who’s in the room
Speakers and delegates from across the value chain will take part, including representatives from Systemiq, the European Commission, Dow, Eunomia, LyondellBasell, ICIS, Mondelez International, Unilever, ALDI, Plastic Energy, Promeco, Aduro Clean Technologies, BlueAlp, SynPet Technologies, Helix Projects, Ghent University, Sabic, and Shell.
A full day of programming
The agenda runs across four sessions covering the state of chemical recycling in Europe, growing market demand for circular plastics, updates and Final Investment Decisions from CRE members, and the technical challenges of upgrading recycled output for demanding end markets. The day opens with remarks from CRE President Valentijn de Neve and closes with a special announcement: CRE’s incoming President.
For those arriving early, CRE is hosting a networking dinner on Monday, 29 September, the evening ahead of the conference.
